Yalissa The Spirited

My mom and dad call me Yalissa but my name is really "Baby-Cakes." Sometimes they call me Lissa Lizard because I love to stick my tongue out. My mommy says it is a really long tongue.
I love to sing and dance. Last year, I went to a Spring Program my big sister's school was putting on. It was boring. My sister would come home every day after school singing these songs and teaching me but when it came time for her to perform, she JUST stood there. It was as if she was shy or something. I don't get it. My parents made me sit there with them, but when Tyna (that's her name) came and sat on my daddy's lap, I took that as my cue to take her place. I got up in the middle of the class in front of all these people I did not know and starting singing "If you're happy and you know it" and dancing all over the room. I had so much fun. And of course my sister just sat there. Now I go to the same school as my sister and we are in the same class. All her friends are my friends and I don't think she likes it that much.
My mom and dad deliver papers early in the morning. Sometimes we get to help out by doing right sides. It is so much fun. There is this one house called the birdie house, the people there are really nice. I get to deliver their paper and they always have a treat for me. Usually it is some kind of candy but occasionally I get a bag of chips or even a book. They are really nice.
My sister and I try to take turn delivering right sides, when it is my turn, my sister gets mad and rides around without her seatbelt on, most of the time my mom doesn't know it. When my mom does find out, she gets mad. Sometimes, she pushes on the brakes and my sister falls forward. I did this once and since I am so light, I fell between the front seat and the back seat with my legs up over my head. I did not like my mom that day.
For the most part, I think I am a pretty good kid. I brush my teeth, take my vitamins, try to clean my room when I am told. I take my medication when I am suppose to even though I really don't like it. It tastes funny and makes me really thirsty.
I used to be the baby of the family, but my mom had my little sister last year, so I am no longer the baby. Normally, I don't have a problem with her, unless she plays with my stuff. Then I get mad and take my toys away. One time, she climbed in my chair so I dumped her out of it. Maybe that will teach her to leave my stuff alone.
